In late July we made change to our service/contract which reduced our bill by ~$40.  The changes were made to take effect at start of August billing cycle and agent indicated that it would be for new amount.  We have autopay setup and just found out that because we have autopay Comcast cannot make changes and will not issue a new bill.  Rather they will withdraw the higher amount and then (hopefully) next month indicate that there was an overpayment and provide a credit (I am sure without interest).  For a company that is trying to become more customer focused and overcome negative ratings this (in my opinion) is a VERY poor example of good custoemr service.  Their system is setup to benefit Comcast and not the customer.  VERY DISAPPOINTED
