Billing issues

Back in August after months of connectivity issues with my internet I asked if I could break my contract.  2 different people at customer support  told me yes and said they would note in my chart.  I asked again when I finally cancelled my service and they said I was fine.  Now 6 months, 10 +calls to Customer service, 3 tickets opened  and numerous calls and letters from a collection agency I still am being billed for stopping my service.  The front line staff who answer the phones are great- the next level if you ever get to it are pompas rude idiots who belittle you and do nothing.   I have a credit coming but instead they sent me to collections! What a horrible company!
