We closed an account in February and never received a final bill, and are now getting calls from a collection agency saying we owe way more than what was told at the disconnect conversation. I asked the lady if I could get a bill so I could pay it and she wanted me to pay over the phone. I refuse to just give my card out to someone person calling from a weird number. We are in the middle of trying to refinance our house and this problem has come up. I have no issue paying the bill if someone would send one or I could deal with Comcast directly. Any suggestions?
