I called the 1-800-xfinity number to pay my bill and the agent tried to sell me Direct TV.  I advised her I was not intrested in Direct TV again, she persisted so I hung up on her.  Why is Comcast trying to sell Direct TV?

Are you able to check your phone to verify the number that you dialed?  I'm just wondering if it is possible a wrong number was pressed?

I guess it is possible butt he person I had on the phone had my account pulled up with the correct account number and billing amount.

It shouldn't happen, but once in a while it does.  A customer service person suggested to me that I might be happier with another company.  That was a long time back, when they had local customer service.
