My 2 year contract just ended and my bill went up by ~ $70/mo. I've looked around at other providers and I can save a lot by switching, but wanted to see if Comcast could do anything before I cancel.
Comcast expects you to contact them BEFORE the end of your contract. Most likely, your bill will go up, by at least $10, and you won't be able to get the same "deal" you had before. But if you contact the service department NOW, you may be able to get a new deal, and they may reduce that $70 increase. That's my experience.
Same thing happened to me. Of course, the "deal" I have is no longer available so it is either take the increase to keep what you have, or take off channels to get your bill lowered. Good luck and keep us posted if you have any luck.
