We have been dealing with an escalating audio issue where it will cut out and in the beginning it lasted a second or two, now with our 4K tv it’s very bad making movies unenjoyable. Xfinity repair guy I spoke with suggested I get a newer box as mine is a first production (XG1v1) and stated no new firmware or setting would remedy this issue. He suggested I get a version 4 (XG1v4) box that is streamline with no clock.
I read a post on here that I was to ask for this self install kit, hopefully someone can help as the audio issue is very frustrating.
Moved to the proper forum but your original post is more of a statement and not requesting anything. Yes it’s true your model of dvr is known for the audio issues, it’ll be quicker to get a neeer dvr at your local service center
