Assistance with My Bill

I need some help with my bill and lowering the price, it's just gotten too high.  I am out of contract and I'm sure that is one  of the reasons why.  At this rate I can't afford it.  I have friends who tell me they are paying much lower than me and have many more features than me (ex. premium channels, X1 package, DVR, etc.) and it's very frustrating.  Thanks
