We moved into a newly built house on a new road. When we bought the house, the seller showed us the new cable installed by Comcast in the pillar in front of the house. When I talk to the service people about starting service to the house, I get “address not recognized”. They can’ t send a tech to a house that is “not recognized”. I have a “House Smart “ work order number (1296729) that says the work will be done by the end of summer. That time has come and still “address not recognized”. How do I get a tech to come to my house and see if there is a signal in the pillar so I can get a cable to the house? None of the service people I have talked to are able to tell me the answer to this question.
