August 2016, I moved out of state and paid bill in full. Comcast neglected to disconnect service on August 12 as requested, so I was charged for month of September. After many calls to Comcast, issue was finally resolved in late 2019. However, a COLLECTIONS AGENCY is now hounding next to pay this. There is a “disconnect” between the CSRs and other departments when it comes to relaying information, and Collections doesn’t seem to remove account numbers (that have been otherwise resolved) when they sell their “debt lists” to collection agencies.
