I have been a comcast subscriber since 2010, but when I moved two years ago they offered a new contract with a 200 visa prepaid card rebate as part of the package.
In November of 2016 I got an email stating that the card was on its way. ...today is April 6th 2018 and I am still waiting.
I have made at least 10 calls over this time and am always told it is on its way. Then I was told it is Metabanks fault (the bank that issues the cards) because they will only use my
service address. A mailbox doesn't exist there and I have a different mailing address. This doesnt seem to be a problem with any other comcast mailing that I constantly get about new offers.
I have just always been told since Novemember of 2016 that my 200 prepaid card is on its way! This is a scam and since this was part of the contract aggrement it is a violation of the contract.
I completely understand your frustration. I can directly attest, as a fellow customer, that the $200 prepaid card is not a scam. It sounds to me that you are simply experiencing an incident of miscommunication. I recommend that you continue your feedback in this forum, as I am certain that one of the Comcast folks will soon address your concerns directly. Good luck!
I've asked a Comcast employee to help you. You should expect a reply in this thread.
ab67redsox1967, if your account was in good standing, and you had the package for at least 90 days, you should have qualified without issue. If the card was sent or was in processing and there was an issue, I can look into that. Please send me a private message with your full name, address, and account related phone number so I can help.
