2 Weeks Trying to Order a New Box

This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I was lied to 2 weeks ago when supposedly my box was shipped which never arrived. I call again this week to ask about the box and am told nothing was shipped, but that a new priority order would arrive in 1 or 2 days. Well, that hasn't arrived either. Yesterday I was told the box was out for delivery and nothing arrived. Today nothing arrived. I've asked two different people for help and both disconnected before giving me any real information. 

 

I am simply requesting a new Xfinity box and your outsourced customer service is incapable of doing this simple task. I've contacted 5 different people over two weeks and nothing happens. Why are you even paying these people? I was given a fake UPS tracking number on top of it all. Is someone on these forums capable of shipping a new box? This is horrible customer service.

I could have copied and pasted your comments.  Exactly the same problem. Did you ever get any satisfaction?

No. Why am I paying for cable TV if Comcast won't send me a box to watch it with. I called about a box on August 31st and it's currently September 14th and I've been lied to repeatedly by Indian customer service. They didn't ship a box the first time I called as confirmed by the woman on the phone who I guess was not sufficiently trained enough to avoid telling me the truth, but she failed anyways because the "priority 1 to 2 day delivery" never arrived either. I will call about cancelling TV very soon.

Guess what? They finally reopened my local Comcast store. I handed them the old box and they handed me a new box without a word. The new box works great! I still detest the phone service and talking to “Mary” who has a strong Indian accent.

All the locations near me are still closed. Perhaps I would have driven to another one two weeks ago if the people on the phone would have just told me they can't ship anything, but instead I was kept waiting. I've seen comments that employees are on vacation and others are being "trained," so no chance of getting help over the phone or live chat. Meanwhile they are still charging my bill.
