rental fees

As the cost of staying with Comcast continues to rise almost yearly, are there any options to purchase the equipment I have to rent?  I have been paying rental fees for five DTA units, the Xfinity box and the modem/router.  I pay an additional $479.40 per year to rent equipment to receive the services.  Of particular concern is the DTA units - from two free to $5.99 per box a month seems excessive.

I have been a customer for 15 years and prefer to remain a customer but .....   Thanks

Re: rental fees

You could buy your router/modem (See mydeviceinfo.xfinity.com) but the set-top boxes are not available at retail.

Hello, the information provided is correct. If you do buy your own modem, we can always help to add it from here if you want.
