"We couldn't sign you into My Account"

Hello, I just placed an order for xfinity service and scheduled for a technician to come. At the end, I was asked to create an account and did so. After verifying my email, I proceeded in trying to login to My Account, which lead me to an error screen saying:

 

"We couldn't sign you into My Account. Unfortunately, you won't be able to manage your account at this time."

 

I see that a lot of others have the same problem as me. I would like to request assistance, as I am unsure if the order and scheduling even processed.
