outside lock box

I have 2 family house with Xfinity lockbox outside, with electrical connection into basement where it plugs into outlet (see attached photos). We are making some changes to electrical - and will need to unplug/relocate the outlet. Does this need to be powered inside my house? What is impact of unplugging? Thank you for the help.

Re: outside lock box

There's probably an amplifier in the house box, that adapter in the basement is the power for the amp. No power to the amp and all your services will be affected.
