The cable pedestal next door lost its cover last year and is still not repaired and an underground cable is exposed in my yard. Apparently service is not yet interrupted but these things should be repaired before large outages occur.
I've asked a Comcast employee to help you. You should expect a reply in this thread.
jacker1, thanks for reaching out. I'll get someone out to take look at the pedestal and construction to bury those lines. Please send me a private message with your full name and your account related phone number for help.
HeyKen- This situation has existed since last summer. I notified the local office and flagged down service trucks but nothing has been done. The problem with the exposed cable has gotten worse during construction along Stonewall Drive this fall.

jacker1 -- I spoke with local tech ops about this. They have informed me that this is now completed. Can you confirm this has been taken care of?
on Friday, they did cover the pedestal connections but could not resolve a fix for the exposed cable. I have not been to the site to see if anything was done on Saturday.
Thanks for the update. Please let me know once you're able to confirm if this was taken care of on Saturday and we can take it from there. -JoeK
As of today (Sunday) the cable remains exposed. We have a forecast for snow later this week and I will try to keep the snow plow away from the cable. We have been lucky this winter and plowing has not been required.
jacker1 -- The tech team that came out to repair the pedestal could only do the repair. We have a separate contractor team who handles cable bury jobs. This has been referred to them to complete. Underground locates will need to be done first and then they'll be able to come out to bury the line. This may be delayed if snow is in the forecast.
jacker1 -- Our cable bury team went out to your location to bury this line. They found that the line does not belong to us though. We'll be unable to bury the line as it is not ours.
