why does comcast keep trying to charge rent for a modem that i have owned since AUG 2015?  this is the third time they have tried this.  I am a senior citizen but my memory still works.  they have no records or proof that they own this modem.  I have invited them to send a rep to the house to examine the modem and verify that is is not a comcast modem.  I provide them dates of the emails/paperwork/etc that they provided that outline the terms of service AND nowhere do they mention rental agreement/equipment..

NO RENTAL  8/17/15

NO RENTAL  9/30/16

NO RENTAL 10/1/16

 

I AM BEGINNING TO UNDERSTAND WHY THEY HAVE BEEN  SUED AND ARE BEING SUED.
