customer service hang up

Two days ago I called for help when one of my TVs started displaying an error message. The first customer service person that I talked to seemed to be reading and repeating a list of question. He was not help and finally simply hung up on me. I called back and got a competent agent who told me that I need a new box.  Hanging up on a customer is not acceptable - can't you provide better employee training?
