connect old account credentials to new account

I had xfinity one year ago, moved out of the service area for a year, and am now moving back.  I set up new service online, and used the same email address, but now I can't associate an online account with my new service because I already have an account attached to that email address.  I'd like to use the old online account credentials to manage my new service.  Is this possible?

Were you able to get your issue resolved?  I have the exact same issue and my first attempt with customer service did nothing to help!
