IF I AM ON A SPECIAL PROMOTION AND MY BILL IS NOT SUPPOSED TO CHANGE, HOW CAN THEY RAISE MY BILL? cOMCAST TELLS ME I HAVE TO STAY IN THE CONTRACT I HAVE NOW OR BE PENALISED YET THEY RAISE MY BILL?? nOT RIGHT . THIS HAS TO BE ILLEGAL.

The base package you signed up for didn't change in price.  Every January though if you rent equipment the price usually goes up.  If you have TV service in addtion to internet the price goes up for brodcast / RSN fees.  The channel bundle though?  Stays the same price.  After the first year... yeah, it goes up by 1/2 the difference of the promo/regular price.
