Explain the "broadcast tv fee"

Re: broadcast tv fee

All TV service customers pay the Broadcast TV fee. It's essentially a mechanism for raising prices for TV service on the sly, even for customers who are under contract. It also allows them to advertise a price for TV service that is lower than what you actually pay -- the fees are buried in the fine print.

Re: broadcast tv fee

The Broadcast TV fee has increased annually from $18 a few years ago to a whopping $96 today ($1.50 to $8.00 monthly).  Outrageous!
