being charged for returned wifi router

I am currently being contacted by debt collectors from Waypoint Resource Group for a debt from Comcast. It is for precisely the amount that the router I had used cost, though I have returned the router several months ago, and Comcast has never contacted me about anything else. I have told Waypoint this, and they have said Comcast has not told them I have returned it. When I call about billing, they simply tell me my current bill is paid.
