Xfinity availability in new subdivision


I'm currently negotiating with a builder for a new house in a new subdivision development. The improvements are not yet complete, and the builder is giving me the run around on internet availability. He says he's "confident" Xfinity will be running lines with the utilities but will not commit to a date. I work from home so his response is not good enough. Who can I contact to determine if Comcast does plan on extending service to the new development?
