XFinity Video Does Not Play

When I log in to check my email, etc.; I am unable to see any of the video files associated with news, sports etc.  Nothing except the thumbnails.  I am using an iMac w/ IOS 10.11.6 and Safari 10.0.3 is the browser.  Flash is updated but no success in viewing the videos.  Any suggestions will be appreciated.

This seems to be an ongoing problem that Comcast is not able or unwilling to help resolve. My only solution was to stop using Safari and use Chrome for watching videos. In practice however I use Safari and never watch any of the Comcast / Xfinity videos. There may be adds attached but I'll never see any of those either since I am not able to watch anything at all if I use Safari, my preferred browser. Comcast is NOT very sensitive to customer complaints so don't frustrate yourself with hoping for a solution from them. Perhaps switching to a different internet provider would be a good solution.
