Unlimited data

I contacted customer support and wanted to add unlimited data to my plan. I was told I couldn't because I was on the amnesty program. Does anyone know what this means and is there a way I can add unlimited data?

Re: Unlimited data

Hi rob68r -- The amnesty program is another name for the Internet Essentials program. This program does not qualify for unlimited data.

Odd, then, that the "How does the XFINITY Terabyte Internet Data Usage Plan work?" item on the https://internetessentials.com/Getting-Help/AccountHelp page says:

... For customers who use a terabyte or more in a month, we also offer an Unlimited Data Option. ...

If Unlimited is not an option for Essentials customers, shouldn't the Help pages should say that, instead of saying the opposite?

Re: Unlimited data

I does say. Anyone that uses more than 1 terabyte can pay 50.00 more a month for unlimited data with internet essentials plan
