Unable to access xFI on my new Arris 1682

I have been using/customer since 2007. So over the new year my sons were playing with their friends and very much destroy my modem. I bought a new one and trying to activate it but was met with stiff negativity from tech support and still my modem is not fully working. I have never contempleting leaving comcast but, that might change. You dont play hardball with long time customer like that.

Hi FranciusChery, I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Have you been able to get your equipment up and running? Are you still experiencing this issue with accessing xFi?

Still not able to access & I don’t think I will ever because of Comcast. Apparently, xFi modem capabilities works for only customers with xFi rental modem but if you own or buy your xFi modem, Comcast makes sure it won’t work. Thanks God, contract expires in June 2018. Verizon Fios, I’m coming.
