Unable to Chat with Support Tech

I've tried to onlline chat with tech support.  When I submit a chat I get an error message that the account phone number is invalid.  My phone number is correct in the account information.  There is no place to enter a phone number on the chat page.  Called tech support and they haven't a clue.
