Trying to get new internet + limited TV service (new construction)

Hello. I am trying to get internet service plus some of the local channels to a newly constructed house. The house is in a neighborhood where everyone else appears to have Comcast Xfinity access and we're not by any means rural. I was told that it would cost over $4,500 for a plant extension. I'd like to know if someone can tell me the actual distance to the junction point for service. It just seems weird because my neighbors can get service already and we're in a regular non-rural neighborhood. My ticket number is 04542 8346. Any insight would be helpful.

I've asked a Comcast employee to help you. You should expect a reply in this thread.
