Time to end customer loyalty

I just spoke with 3 different customer service reps about adjusting my plan to get a new customer rate for internet & tv (which I barely watch these days), however I was told those rates are Internet specials and not available in my area. I said how can that be? I typed in my address and said I'm a new customer moving to that address and these were the rates being offered. So they are legitimate offers. Why can't I get them as a loyal customer for 14 years (it literally is nearly 1/2 the cost of what they are charging me)?

So I'm canceling and going to U-Verse. I see commercials for Xfinity and how great it is, but my Xfinity is nothing like the commercials. I'm stuck with SD (no HD) and 1980s technology for ridiculous prices for crappy channels no one watches. Time to cut the cord and just use internet.
