Suspect email

I received an email claiming to be from Comcast online support stating i needed to update my user profile records to cancel limitation there is a link to click to do this. I suspect this is a scam or hack attempt email can someone confirm if this is correct? The email address it was sent from is

It's extremely unlikely that Comcast would send messages from, a notorius source of scam emails. What you have is almost certainly a phishing email, a scammer attempt to steal login and account information. If you check your email with Comcast's Xfinity Connect webmail, look for the XFINITY Verified Email logo next to any message that claims to be from Comcast/Xfinity (see
