Stop charging me so much

Currently paying 87 bucks a month for tv and internet. The sales agent I spoke with said I could switch at anytime if I didn’t like how much I was paying so I took the chance and went with the more expensive. Comcast offers services for 29.99 and 39.99 a month. I have called numerous times to only be able to lower my bill to 70 bucks. It is clear on the forums that Comcast has zero love for its existing customers. I have had Comcast xfinity for less then 2 months. I would love to resolve this issue or I will just cancel the service and switch providers.
