Remove cable modem from old account

Hello, I'm a returning Xfinity customer. I'd like to reuse my previously used modem with my new subscription. I don't have access to my old account (it's been a couple of years). Could you please help? I can provide details in PM, as needed.

Hi, is there a way to get a Comcast rep to look at this without violating their PM policy? I read online that the phone reps can't do this or it would end up in waiting/transfer nightmare, but I've seen a few topics on this board which addressed this exact issue (by @

Hello cm820, is this a modem that you purchased or is this a modem that was owned by Comcast?
