Regional sport charges on my bill?

I noticed my bill went up and see that 'Regional Sports Fee' is added on my bill last month and this month.  No one in my family are sports people and I ddin't authorize any changes. What is this fee and can it be removed from my bill?

Re: Regional sport charges on my bill?

Hello, The Regional Sports Fee is an itemized charge that recovers a portion of the costs of broadcasting multiple regional sports networks to our standard video services. The fee applies to Xfinity TV customers receiving Digital Starter and above.
