Recent price hike way too much, going to just internet, lose cable and phone.

How can I cancel my cable and phone but keep my internet without having to call customer service? After 20 + years, the recent price hikes have driven me to a HD antenna, and I already pay for Netflix and Amazon Prime. Always like Comcast but this is too much. I am on month to month, so no early service termination fees will apply. I tried online chat earlier, yet the employee (Ashish) had absolutly no interest in keeping me as a customer. Funny, you'd think Comcast would want to keep their older clients who have been paying and can afford a reasonable bill, as opposed to the millenials who are all about cutting the cord.  Oh well, my nephews have voluntereed to teach us all about HULU, and living 8 miles from downtown Chicago with an HD antenna will take care of our needs.

If you don't want to call, the most effective way is to carry Comcast's equipment to the nearest local store and turn it back in to them.  Be sure to get a receipt, and keep it forever.  Also consider scanning or copying it;  my shop uses thermal paper, which fades to a blank piece of paper in a week or so.(Not all shops use this, I've been told)

I feel exactly the same way.  Same experience.  Either going to verizon although I like comcast or antenna.
