Received an email that modem was not returned


I moved from Denver to Oklahoma City, had already canceled and returned the rental modem on May 30th. I received an email a week ago that comcast received the modem however, today I got another email that they have not received it.  I called and the agent said it has not been returned yet...possibly because it's lost during shipping process. Is it possible for you to help me double check if you get it or not? Will I still be charged a monthly fee until the modem is found?

Moreover, how to I pay my last bill? I tried logging in but my account is no longer active.
