Rate increase

I have called Comcast several times since the rate increase in January.  They will not call me back and they keep telling me that I have the best deal they have available.  My bill went from $178 to $204 (total bill).  Nobody will listen as I just want to get into a cheaper package; we don't need all the channels we have and just want to go back to the basic cable stations.  After being a loyal customer for years I feel that the company just doesn't care about its customers anymore.  Why is is that they will gladly upgrade your services but will not go backwards and downgrade your package when asked?????
