Previous Comcast customer who switched to DIRECTTV over 12 yrs ago

Last had Comcast over 12 yrs ago and switched to DIRECTTV (which has since been upgraded to HD).  

If I return to XFINITY (Comcast) will I need all new wiring/cable to the house as well as under my crawl space (to include new XFINITY cable box install near street)? 

Or is XFINITY able to just tap into the existing DIRECTTV wiring that is already hooked up throughout crawl space and into the house?

They can probably utilize your current wiring with some minor reconfiguring.
