No respect or understanding with longterm customers

Xfinity site doesnt allow to change the package "manage my connection" , it asks me to call up your desk.
And yesterday i was on Chat with "Ralph" and today spoke to "Nishelle" for 20 minutes. They give different versions about changing my packages. Ralph said i can go for 49.95 as an existing customer and Nishelle denies that today.
I basically want to convert to internet only package 49.95 per month or cancel this connection (TV+internet)
