New Customer Pricing

I've been looking around for an answer but I've seen different answers here and elsewhere so apologies if this is a duplicate. My promotional period ends tomorrow and after calling in to explain I couldn't afford the new price and if there was anything available for less (bundled service went from 34.99 to 64.99) they confirmed there was nothing cheaper. Anways, long story short I've scheduled my service to be cancelled at the end of this week after setting up an install with another provider and my question is this:


How long would I have to wait to be eligible for Comcast's new customer pricing? I was really happy with the service and from what I know about Verizon DSL service I'm likely to want to return as soon as I can. Depending where I look I've seen 6 months, 12 months or never.
