Never got a modem

I signed up for Internet through xfinity about three months ago, and have never received a modem. Since then I have been using hotspots which aren't the most reliable. I've had problems with packages not being delivered to my apartment before, so this may be the issue, but I checked online and it says it was delivered. I'm also currently without a phone, so things have been extra frustrating. Is there anyway I can resolve this without having to call customer service?
