Need Some Help ASAP

We have been with Comcast for at least 4 years and have always paid on time. Never had any problems or complaints and I still don't. We are just going through a personal situation (job loss,death in family,court) at the moment and I was wondering/needing to know how I can get a payment extension on my bill to keep the internet on. Its the only source we have right now for submitting resumes for employment because everywhere you have to apply online now. I was also wondering how I can get my bill lowered since I'm only using internet? Any help or information would be very much appreciated as I am at a breaking point at the moment
