I am trying to move my Xfinity service from my old home to a newly constructed home in an established development. After giving my address I was told service was unavailable. However Comcast already has service to every other home in this development. There currently is a Comcast transfer box right across the street and cable has been laid under the road to an orange standpipeclose to my property. Cable has been run from that stand pipe to my house and there is another orange standpipe at the entrance to my house. Cable is already run into the basement of my new home from this standpipe. I have been told all that is required is for Comcast to install a new transfer box at the first standpipe and connect me to the main line.
I talked to a comcast move specialist and have a problem ticket number. The move specialist said they would get back to me but have not despite several calls to their voice mail and providing additional information about the current situation.
In addition, PA ONE CALL was used to mark underground utilities and Comcast came out and placed their orange buried caple flags right to my house!

I've asked a Comcast employee to help you. You should expect a reply in this thread.
