Monthly payment went up

I only have Xfinity Internet at home, and paid $59.99 plus taxes per month for a year for really high speed of internet though a lot of times the connection was disappointing. When the bill for this August came, the total went up to $74.99 without the bill itself explaining where the surcharge came from. $74.99 a month is too expensive for the internet connection that is unstable at times. Anyone from Comcast could explain the surcharge and is it possible to lower it back to the original payment?

Sounds like your promotion expired and you're now paying the everyday price for your service.  Take a couple of your past bills and compare them with your current bill and you should see where the increase is.
