Line & Box Move

I was wanting to know what I needed to do to have the cable box on the outside of my house moved to a different location.  I am putting siding on my house and trying to make everything look better and have less outside lines running everywhere.  If someone could please help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: Line & Box Move

Hello CEA14, does all your cable in your house go to this d-mark (cable box)? If this is the case, we couldn't move it as the cabling goes to a central location on the outside, and that would be where the underground drop/overhead drop would run to. So if you need to relocate all the cable the best suggestion would be to have a contractor do this. If nothing needs to be relocated, the best way would be to remove the box from the wall, let the siding be installed, and reattach the box. This is what I ended up doing when I resided my house. Looks great!
