Late fees and billing periods

I lost my job last month and started my new one last week, however I will not receive a paycheck in time to pay my bill by the due date. How much will the late fee be and is there anyway it can be waived this time due to hardship? My due date is the 5th. Any assistance is appreciated, thanks in advance.
