Internet bill got higher, please help?

Will someone please get in touch with me about my internet bill? It seems my bill this month has gone from 40 dollars a month to 60 dollars a month and I'm not sure why. I'm not really able to afford the extra 250+ dollars per year, and if my bill will now be 60 dollars a month consistently, I will have to cancel my service and switch to AT&T Uverse. I've been very pleased with Comcast other that this, and would love to stay on this account. Please help!

Sudden jumps in fees are usually at the end of a promotional period.  If you go back over past bills, you'll most likely see a warning of it somewhere on the bill.  You can line up the new bill with an old one and go through it line by line to find out where the increased cost came in. You could contact Comcast and see if you can negotiate another promotion to lower your bill.  It's worth a shot.
