Increase in service & pricing

I received notice yesterday that my pricing for my service is going to increase Jan 1,2018.  I would like to keep my same service and pricing.  I was under the impression my pricing would not increase.

Who told you the price would not increase? NEVER believe what a salesperson tells you unless you get it in WRITING.

Don't expect price increases to stop. Reduced competition, the loss of Net Neutrality, the current FCC, and people like Craig Moffett who think broadband prices are too cheap and standard plans should be priced starting around $90-$100.

Re: Increase in service & pricing

I received a notification with my current bill.  I have not talked to customer service...yet....

This is normal, when you call ask for Customer Retention and then work out a deal.

Review the entire package you have ahead of time and see if there is anything you dont use to be able to give-up.   See if there is anything you wish you had and plan that as part of your whole strategy when negotiating with Xfinity.

FYI, all ISPs (Internet Service Providers) do this, not just a comcast thing.
