I cannot set up my kitchen tv

My kitchen TV stopped working, changed batteries in remote, finally called Comcast-they told me to return my 3 items to them.  I do not drive in bad weather (going on age 80) but my neighbor was going there and returned them for me.  They did not return thr 3 replacements (just 2 of them), they told her I did not need the 3rd item. That did not make sense because those 3 items were installed by comcast when I signed up with them, so I knew I was going to have a problem-which I did.  Once again I had to call comcast-thr girl who helped me said I needed an HDM1 part-she would mail it.  There is no where on the back of my TV where it will plug in.  It is an older, box style TV (Sylvania), now I dont know what to do - I have been paying for this box since Sept., and it will not work-when I called comcast the girl said I needed a part that does not work.  Can anyone help?

Re: I cannot set up my kitchen tv

If you have an old tube type TV, you cannot use HDMI. All Comcast boxes have a coax output, which you should use.
