Gigabit help

I see that the gigabit internet is available at my address but everytime I call and talk to a representative to find out pricing and plan details they always tell me they'll have to call me back and never do. I've tried 3 different times and it's pretty irritating why is it so hard just to find out if I can go ahead and change my service to the 1 gbps speed?
