Getting a new promotion as an existing customer

I really don't feel like playing the fake cancellation game to get a new rate.

My local rep used to help me with all my questions but he's no longer with Comcast. Is there a way to find out who my current rep is, or is there another way to get a good promotional rate without planning the call in game?

Comcast may be changing their strategy as far as making promotions available to existing customers.  The first tier of Customer Service may not be able to do it, but they will transfer you to someone who can.  That has been my experience at least the past couple renewals.  To watch out for is with promotional rates, you are agreeing to a time committment and pay a penalty if you canel before your contract is up.
