Existing Customer Bundle

After two years of having a fairly reasonable rate my bill this month jumped by $40. I am a retired senior on fixed income and this rate increase is an added burden. I used online chat yesterday and the only option I was given was a plan that is $5 higher than my current higher priced plan. Is there any way of lowering my bill at least back to where it was last month? I noticed some people have been asked to private message Comcast reps but that feature does not seem to be working...
